Goulburn & District Art Society Inc.

Goulburn and District Art Society started its life in 1956 as the Goulburn Art Club.
Its mission was and still is "to foster art and culture in the Goulburn district".

During its 55 years the society has held many exhibitions and competitions
which attract exhibitors from a much wider part of the state .

Members enter many competitions, have their paintings hung in
prestigious exhibitions such as the Blake and have been awarded prizes
at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Canberra and district shows.
The society has influenced the work of many local artists and
through their association with it, their works are much sought after.
